Blog Post Content From Leaders In Online Industry: Top 3 Leaders!
By Carol Farbe | November 29, 2011
Business blogging was designed to promote your business online. You can have static websites or ones that are constantly updated. This blog is updated regularly and posts send out to my list. Before posting, I like to research to see that latest within my industry for blog post content. How do I do that? I read other people’s blogs. I read the best in the industry. Here are list of my favorite top 3 blogs!
The first person I hooked up with back in 2007 was Connie Ragen Green. Connie teaches how to get your presence known on the internet. She starts out by teaching you the basics with technology. She shows you what you need to get started with an online business and how you can build it. She always starts by doing it herself. “If I can do it, then so can you” is her motto. She is open to answering questions on a monthly teleseminar. I highly recommend her and her products.
The second person I hooked up with was Denise Wakeman back in 2008. She and a friend had started a blog called the Blog Squad where they showed you how to set up a blog using the Typepad platform. At the time, back in 2007, I had no idea what hosting was or how to set it up. When you use Typepad, Typepad is also the hosting company. I referred to my Typepad eBook that she co-wrote several times over the years. She has moved on and branched out from Typepad. She describes herself as a “business blogger and online marketing advisor.” I have since moved on to using WordPress as my blogging platform. I actually just moved over a Typepad blog to WordPress. I don’t recommend it since it was complicated. But I asked lots of questions and by the Grace of God, it worked!
The third person I recommend is Geoff Hoff. He is a great copywriter. He always answers my questions no matter how small or trivial they may seem. He answers and explains why I should do things one way as opposed to another. I have only been following him for a short time, almost a year, which is a long time online since things change so fast. But I can tell you that he knows his stuff. He is a lot more than a copywriter. He knows the technical ‘why’ and ‘how ‘to do something and has often given me recommendations.
These are only 3 people that I recommend to build your online presence. There are other great bloggers but these folks will give you a great start. Look within your industry to see who the leaders are. Once you find them, sign up to receive their blog updates. Keep posted on what they are doing. I get great blog content ideas from other business bloggers. I have purchased products from all three of these bloggers. I recommend them and their products. Building an online business from a brick and mortar business can be complicated. But don’t let that stop you. Keep researching, keep reading. Take one step at a time. It takes time to grow a business. You will reach your online goals. Where do you find great blog content? Post your comments below. I want to know what leaders in your industry are you following online.
