Computer Crashes Can Be Avoided
By Carol Farbe | December 22, 2009
Do you plan to protect yourself and your computer? A back up system should be in place for everyone. I have an external hard drive that I use. I back up all my files to it. I know that’s a great place to start. I read that having an online backup system is also a good idea to invest in. I haven’t taken that step yet, but I may in the future.
Do you use book marking sites? You can copy to those sites and then you won’t loose your links. As far as email, I read that you can copy your email account to your G mail account. If your computer crashes, you can still access that information.
OK, so maybe a crash can’t be avoided but take the time to do a complete back up on a regular basis. If a catastrophe occurs, have no fear, you will be ready to handle it. You will have files in other places that you will be able to access. When was the last time you did a back up?
